I enjoyed the eggplant tofu dish. I also really liked that the waiter knew which dishes could be made without animal ingredients in the sauce.

Looking for actually good Chinese food in Tucson? Congrats you finally found it! Let me tell you, the outside does not even reflect the gem that is inside. They have some traditional Chinese dim sum options along with your go to Chinese food to pair. When I saw this older man who obviously worked there come in from the outside with a bag of FRESH green beans I knew I was in for a treat. Honestly everything is freshly made I could tell right of the bat with the quality of the food. They pay attention to detail with sauces as well, my husband usually gets a sesame chicken and myself a generally I get a orange chicken or general tso which some places you can tell they use the same sauce and they do not. The flavor for both dishes were amazing and I didn't have one complaint. The service was ok.. they did have a help wanted sign in the front but for obvious reasons we dined in and there was one girl working the entire room which was impressive honestly so I didn't expect amazing service but we didn't wait long at all. The crab Rangoons sweet and sour sauce is definitely made in house. Overall the quality and flavor are OUTSTANDING this is the best Chinese food in Tucson.

Love love love this place. I highly recommended this place and I am Asian born in Taiwan. This place is more like home cooking Asian food. I highly recommend their spicy splashing noodle, egg plant stir fry, stir fry lamb, and others. They make the food very flavorful and tasty. I ordered so many times from here and the quality has been same and consistent. It is def one of my fav spot in Tucson for home like setting food

Super delicious. Best Mongolian chicken yet. Service is great :) Crab rangoons were also great, would recommend Good prices

My bf and I have been wanting to try this place out and finally made it here for some lunch. There was 1 other table when we arrived and we were seated quickly. We ordered 5 dishes to try and everything was so delicious. I think the walnut shrimp we ordered is some of the best I've ever had. If you like pickled garlic cucumbers, theirs are delicious! It was the perfect app to open up the stomach for all the yummy food. Overall, great place with great food. They also have lunch specials until 3pm!

Thanks to all the very positive Yelp reviews about this restaurant, I went this evening. One of the best tests of a good Chinese meal is the egg drop soup test. They passed with flying colors! My order was amazingly flavorful and incredibly spicy; as they said it would be. I didn't enjoy it as much due to the heat, but I cannot complain because I was warned. It was an awesome experience. The service was great, and while there was only one other table eating in, they had a steady flow of food going out the door for takeout and meal delivery. Will absolutely go back and try some other slightly less spicy stuff.

I cannot let the weekend pass without making sure I reviewed this place! My husband and I went on Thursday night. There was only one other table when we went in, so it was pretty quiet. I had heard about this place once in passing from an old coworker and when looking up restaurants in the area, I recognized the name and thought I would try it out. Driving by I would've missed it. I actually drive past this place all the time and have never noticed it was right there all along. Going inside, it was small, but clean and welcoming. Our server met us with our menu and was able to answer questions and help as needed. Every single thing we ordered was absolutely 10 out of 10 it was flavorful, it was hot, they were great portions, and it came out in an adequate amount of time. I was going between the string beans or the buns but I'm really glad that I chose the string beans. If you haven't had them definitely add them to your order next time! I will say that we did have to ask for water when we needed a refill. And when we needed one more, as well as boxes and the check, I had to go to the front to get their attention, as the staff was talking and not very attentive, despite only having a few tables in the restaurant. It didn't ruin the experience for us or anything, just a minor detail that could be improved. We really enjoyed the restaurant and will definitely add it to our regular spots!

Great food. Many people coming in for takeout. Next time that's our takeout place. I ordered the beef with broccoli. Honestly, it was the beast I've had since I can recall. My husband got the shrimp curry. He enjoyed it as well. Pleasant people in a small, super casual setting. Would definitely recommend.

Fatman's Chinese is one of our new favorites. The restaurant is clean with seating for different parties. The prices and quality of food is what really stands out. While it has some more traditional American style Chinese, it also has some more dishes that remind us of more authentic Chinese dishes. Regardless of the style, the food is fantastic. The flavors are complex with distinct flavor. Mongolian tastes Mongolian, Xi'an tastes like Xi'an, and Sichuan tastes like Sichuan. Too often American style Chinese all tastes the same regardless of the region of the dish, but here each style is distinct. In addition to the flavor, the quality and quality of the meat, vegetables and noodles is wonderful. We have not found a dish we did not love. For me in particular, I love spicy food and hot and sour soup is a comfort food. The hot and sour soup here is some of the best I have had. The level of pepper spice is perfect, the broth is deep and rich, and it is perfectly balance with a sour edge. If you are looking for some of the best American style Chinese that has more authentic Chinese touches, we highly recommend Fatman's!

Yummy Galore! We had this food delivered and let me tell you it was still hot when we received it. I can tell they make their food fresh! The lo mein is a def must try and the beef braised noodle soup was superb with a little spicy kick! If you're in the area I would def recommend this spot. Thank me later ;)
